| On March 10, 2004, I had the pleasure of being at City Hall to see Councilman Leroy Comrie present a City Council Proclamation to World Wrestling Entertainment for 20 years of entertaining New Yorkers. This Proclamation comes on the heels of the biggest wrestling event to ever hit New York City - Wrestlemania XX. In addition to spending some time with the superstars on hand to accept the Proclamation, Lita, Booker T, WWE Champion Eddie Guererro and Mick Foley, I saw my good friend Richard Hering, who is the WWE's Vice President for Governmental Relations. If that is not cool enough, I gave some copies of my book to Richard, who asked me to autograph one for Linda and Vince McMahon! I also autographed one for Booker T at his request, and he held it through the entire ceremony! |
